Arthur Mafokate is so desperate for his record label to win a Metro FM award that he is offering a cow as a prize if his fans vote for 999 Music.
His “cow campaign” even made it into the Daily Sun!
The music mogul’s 999 Music is nominated in the Best Compilation Album category for Summer Ya Di Summer.
The album is up against DJ Fresh’s Fresh House Flava Vol 8, DJ Kanunu’s Soul Meditation 2, and Various Artists’ It’s Not A Party Without Us.
The competition is stiff and Arthur is going to extreme measures to make sure his team gets enough votes to win that money.

Arthur is not the only local artist acting a bit desperate. Cassper Nyovest launched an official “comedy skit” video in January, encouraging fans to vote for him. He is nominated for four awards, which means a big payday if he wins!
Big Nuz also has something special to offer the ladies. Female fans stand a chance to walk down the red carpet with the group, and even score tickets to the after party!
Mmm, look what you have done Metro – you’ve got respected artists acting the fool.
