Rumours that Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa footed the bill for Kelly Khumalo’s recent baby shower has sparked speculation that she might soon become his second wife.
On Monday, Kelly gave birth to her daughter with Senzo, who left his wife Mandisa to move in with the Afro-pop songbird last year. He, however, reportedly returned to his marital home in February, amidst rumours he disapproved of Kelly’s brazen flaunting of her baby bump.
But the football player seems to be buttering his bread on both sides.
Move! magazine has published a photo of Senzo and Kelly embracing each other at the swanky Jozi baby shower, according to them not very long after they spotted the keeper and his wife having fun at a Wanderers indoor sports centre.
And insiders reportedly say Senzo is having a hard time choosing between his wife and baby mama, with whom he is said to be “smitten”.
“Senzo loves Mandisa but he seems to also love Kelly more,” a source revealed.
“And, with a child on the way it could make him decide to take Kelly as his second wife. But whether Mandisa will settle for such an arrangement is something else.”
Kelly currently faces charges of grievous bodily harm, reckless and negligent driving, damage to property, and three counts of assault, brought against her by the very same Mandisa last year, after a heated argument over the football player by the side of a Jozi highway.
