Sonia Sedibe took to Instagram on Monday morning to talk about a tough period in her life that almost took away her joy and her dignity.
The actress looked back at the fateful day on 11 January 2014, when a former helper accused her of being violent during a heated argument.
The pair allegedly got into a fight over the domestic worker’s refusal to put on her work uniform before she put Sonia’s kids to bed.
The helper claimed Sonia punched her in the face, while Sonia countered that the domestic worker slapped her on the cheek and grabbed her by the hair.

The helper eventually confessed that Sonia did not beat her up.
Sonia said on Monday morning that the scandal almost broke her.
“That’s the day the enemy burst through the door, stealing my joy, my dignity, my glory and a whole lot more! He made sure that he left me in complete shock and in a state of disbelief. What followed after was a series of one attack after another…but the entire time I stayed in my truth…faithful and full of prayer!” she said on Instagram.
