Sterling EQ European debut

South African instrumental pop group Sterling EQ has been confirmed to perform at the prestigious European World Travel Awards ceremony in Turkey on 31 August.   This will be the European debut of the multiple award-winning three-piece, and the 11th country the group will perform in.

“It’s a great honour for us to be invited to perform for this particular event”, band leader and flautist Carina Bruwer said.  “There is always something exciting about performing on foreign soil, and to be on the bill at such a prestigious European event is a great accolade.  We can’t wait!”

Known for changing the face of instrumental music in South Africa and beyond with their extraordinary fusion of virtuosity and fresh beats, Sterling EQ is fresh from winning a Huisgenoot Tempo Award in July, adding to their Ghoema Music Award received earlier this year, and their SA Music Award from 2011.

ZAlebs would like to congratulate the group and hope they have an amazing time in Turkey.

How awesome would it be if Sterling EQ actually did a collaboration album with Kwela Tebza?
