Generations: The Legacy actress and 5FM DJ, Thando Thabethe, paid ZAlebs a visit on Monday as she hijacked the site and opened up about her role on the soapie. She also touched a little bit on her love life.
Apart from being our guest presenter on ZAlebs news, Thando also touched based on her upcoming Women’s Day Netball Challenge:
“I’m super-duper excited about the netball challenge, we’re in our second year and yes I’ll be playing plus there’s going to be a bunch of celebrity ladies also joining me for the game. What’s also interesting is that we’ll also be playing a game against other male celebrities and that should be fun! Last year the guys won, but this year we’ll be on our A-game and we’re definitely winning.” she said.
Thando revealed that the likes of Thato Molamu, DJ Milkshake, Mo Flava, and a whole lot of other gentlemen will be joining in on the netball challenge. What a sight to see that will be!
In the recent weeks, we’ve also seen two of Thando’s fellow cast members leave Generations. We asked her what her take was on the two actresses leaving so abruptly.
“Well, we each negotiated our contracts individually, so I wasn’t in the room with them when they negotiated their’s, so I really can’t comment much about that situation.”
Still on the topic of people leaving Generations, Thando revealed that she’s also getting fired… but don’t get too excited yet, she actually meant her character was getting fired from her position in the story and not necessarily from the entire show. We got you there, didn’t we?
“People should watch Generations because my character is being fired from her job, so she’s currently looking for employment. Things also get really steamy between her and Tshidi because she’s trying to avenge the fact that she got fired and steamy get steamy elsewhere too.”
