If you missed out on this year’s SA Fashion Week held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, showcasing the latest designs by extremely talented South African designers, make sure not to make the same mistake twice! The majority of South African men that I know aren’t fashion orientated and see such an event as being of interest to women only. Let me tell you, you couldn’t be more wrong!
So guys, the next time your partner tries to drag you to this event, which clashes with your weekend sport, try it out and approach it with an open mind. You’ll soon appreciate the passion, dedication and creativity behind our designers and it’ll also help you to become more familiar with the latest trends – not to mention the beautiful models!
Staying on the topic of fashion, winter is around the corner and it’s most definitely my favourite season of the year. Unlike my hometown Durban, Jozi gets a lot colder in winter which allows you to really get stuck into the winter fashion trends. So being a fit model and brand ambassador for GUESS, I’ll pop into the GUESS Brooklyn store to see what men can expect in the fashion stakes this season.
