Thuli Phongolo will graduate soon.
The actress, who plays Namhla on Generations: The Legacy, has completed a strategic marketing degree at the University of Johannesburg. Her graduation will take place in March 2016.
She told Sowetan that juggling between her acting career and her studies was not easy.
“I missed some classes and the schedule was tight. But you also have to take charge of your life as an adult. I went the extra mile.”
Thuli said Generations was supportive, though. “Sometimes they would let me go to school to drop off assignments or go to important classes. That would be fitted into my scenes,” she told the publication.
