The moment we've all been patiently waiting for has finally arrived.
MTV Base announced their Hottest South African MC for 2015!
This year, the prestigious crown went to Cassper Nyovest. We saw this coming - the rapper has achieved a lot this year and made history after becoming the first South African musician to have a soldout show at the Ticket Pro Dome (20 000 people).
The second part of the show aired on Friday afternoon and judging by the reaction on social media, some people are not impressed. The roundable discussion had a panel of some of the entertainment industry's most respected personalities including Tbo Touch and Loyiso Gola.

The debate was nothing short of drama, but a winner had to be chosen.
