Tonight, X-Men fans in Mzansi will be struggling to sleep. Why? Because the newest installment in one of the finest super-hero series will be releasing around the country; we’re talking, of course, about X-Men: Days of Future Past and we’re as excited as everyone else reading this.
The film is scooping rave reviews left, right and centre with review kings, Rotten Tomatoes, being particularly complimentary. They’ve dubbed the newest X-Men film, “a satisfyingly fast-paced outing that ranks among the franchise’s finest installments.” We try to stay away from reviews before watching a movie but we couldn’t help ourselves with this one.
X-Men: Days of Future Past’s timeline takes an interesting angle that tackles time travel as members of the original X-Men triolgy travel back in time to aid their younger counterparts in a war for the safety of the universe. The story intertwines with X-Men: First Class storylines as our beloved heroes go back in time to battle for the future of humanity.
This movie is too explosive for us to even consider watching on our own so we’ve decided to give away two double tickets to the biggest X-Men fans amongst our readers. We have one double ticket for our Joburgers (To watch at Ster-Kinekor, Eastgate Mall) and one double ticket for our PTA readers (To Watch at Ster-Kinekor, The Grove). All you have to do is answer the following question correctly:
What is the name of the last X-Men movie that was released before X-Men: Days of Future Past?
All X-Men fans should email their correct answers to our editor using the following address: [email protected]
Winners will be announced and notified tomorrow at 12-Midday so you’d better hurry if you want to win those tickets!
