His first crush…
My first crush was this girl I liked back in Primary School – I think we were in grade 7. I really liked her so I decided to buy her some chocolate éclairs and a rose. She gladly took the rose but unfortunately she threw it away as I saw it laying down an hour later along the path she’d take when walking home. For some reason I just knew that was the rose I had given her. I think she was really scared to actually take the rose all the way home as I’m sure her mom was going to ask her where she’d gotten the rose from.
The first time he saw his wife…
The first time I saw my wife (Janice) I thought to myself, “Wow! This woman really has some beautiful legs!” I actually saw her from the back and my attention immediately went straight to her legs. I then found the courage to go up to her and introduce myself. I was honest with her from the get-go and told her about her stunning legs. She was taken aback a bit because she had never had a stranger come up to her and say such things. So I just saw my compliment as an opportunity to start up a conversation that was hopefully going to build into a relationship between us.
So, was it love at first sight…
Yes I did have a “love at first sight” moment when I first saw Janice. Ever since that day we’ve been best friends and lovers. We share so many common interests, even in music, so that’s also solidified our love for each other.
