Lindsay Lohan might be out of rehab before she even arrives because she is not happy that the rehabilitation centre wants to confiscate her Adderall.
Lindsay is supposed to be in the Seafield Centre in Westhampton Beach, NY for 90 days. An official at the Centre said sometimes the staff do allow addicts to take prescription medication, but everybody is very suspicious over Adderall because of its many abuses. Many people take the drug for ADHD, but just as many use it for weight loss purposes and getting high.
Lohan has been abusing Adderall for years and said she absolutely refuses to take an Adderall substitute. She says she’s tried other medications and Adderall is the only pill that works for her.
Lindsay said she’s not willing to stay in a facility that doesn’t allow her access to her Adderall, and when she finds out Seafield wants her off it … she’s outta there as well!
It seems that Ozzy has fallen off the wagon…again. According to reports, Sharon Osbourne stated that the latest relapse left her devastated, but she is going to do everything in her power to help him.
Many people reported that the Osbournes might split up, but Sharon said there is no divorce on the horizon for them.
Sharon was surprised to find out her husband has been using alcohol and prescription drugs for the past two years without her knowing, especially because Ozzy has been fighting addiction his entire life.
She said: ‘Everybody knows he’s been struggling with this his entire life and I never knew that he was using prescription drugs. I knew he was drinking occasionally, but I didn’t realise to the extent.’
Sharon remains positive that the family will be able to deal with ‘Ozzy’s problems’. According to many rehabilitation centres, addiction is a disease that not only affects the user, but the family as well.
Last week Ozzy apologised for his behaviour on Facebook and wrote: ‘For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a**hole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober.‘
Football star David Beckham has revealed that he was not all that interested in clubs during his younger years.
The former Manchester United midifielder had a plethora of nightclub options growing up in Manchester, but admits it was never really his thing.
Beckham told Man About Town magazine: ‘It was incredible in Manchester back then. It was the time of the Haçienda club – there were so many great things happening there at that time.
‘I wasn’t a clubby person. I haven’t been a big clubby person my whole life, you know, even at a very young age, which I think has helped me throughout my career.
‘I’ve nothing against going out and having a good time, but I think, for me it was all about Manchester United… and, of course, The Stone Roses. Apart from the music, all I was interested in was playing for Manchester United. It was all I wanted in my life.’
Things haven’t turned out too badly, David, so you really didn’t miss out on anything…
