When people get married, we hope that their love for each other will conquer and they will stay together until death do them apart.
Unfortunately, regardless of how much people love each other, sometimes things just don't work out.
This year we saw several divorces in Celebville, and we have to say many of them took us by surprise.
Let's have a look at the celebs that called it quits in 2019.
DJ Nkosinathi “Black Coffee” Maphumulo and Enhle Mbali never really had a perfect marriage. Their relationship was filled with lots of cheatings and allegations.
Earlier this year, rumour had it that Black Coffee was cheating on Enhle with David Guetta's ex-wife, Cathy Guetta. The rumour was sparked by an Instagram post were Cathy was seen giving several hugs to Black Coffee at a gig in Cannes, France.
In 2013 there were also reports that the star had allegedly cheated on Enhle with a model and aspiring businesswoman.
Enhle has also openly opened up about Black coffee's promiscuous ways.
“Personally, for me, cheating is an issue, but not as big as the fact that a person sat in front of you and lied to your face every single day,” Enhle told DJ Zinhle on her THD24 show, Yours Sincerely.
The pair were engaged in 2010 and had a traditional wedding a year later and a white wedding in 2017.
Enhle broke the news about the divorce on Instagram. She wrote that this has been a very difficult year and asked for 'space' to deal with it.
She also said "All I've ever tried to do was be a great wife. A supportive wife, one that is respectful. Not only to my partner and everyone that is around him...It is indeed a situation that no one wants to see themselves in, but here we are."
Black Coffee also confirmed the divorce.
In an interview with YFM’s DJ Sabby, he said he is not the first person to divorce.
"I don’t feel I owe anyone anything. I’m not the first person to be in this situation. No one is dead, no one is abused and nothing terrible happened. We just decided this is where we want to be, but the public feels like they want to have a say to a point where sometimes it’s disrespectful," he said.
Musician stars Nhlanhla and TK Nciza recently shared the heart-breaking news that their marriage has come to an end.
The two were married for 15 years. They are parents to three boys, Nkululeko, Thamsanqa and Luvuyo.
Breaking the news about the divorce on social media, Nhlanhla wrote: "After almost 15 years of our strong bond of marriage, my husband TK Nciza and I have come to a tough but amicable decision to bring an end to our union. I am thankful for the support we have given each other over the years while raising our children. We shall remain on good terms and continue our endeavor to be great and exemplary parents to our children. We appreciate the support we've received from family and friends. At this stage we would like to appeal for privacy, particularly for the sake of our children. We thank you"
Neither Nhlanhla or TK have stated the reason for their divorce, but Nhlanhla seems to be dealing well with the divorce. She recently went on a vacation by herself and seems very happy.

We can imagine!
Lerato Molapo, affectionately known as Lira, and Robin Kohl announced their split in July.
Lira and Robin, who is also her manager, got married in September 2009.
But, sadly they are now separated.
“It is with great sadness that I announce my separation from my husband of many years, Mr Robin Kohl,"Lira wrote on July 26.
She stated that the two are no longer living under one roof.
"Robin and I are currently living apart and are in the process of deciding the future of our marriage. We have had a long and fruitful marriage and business relationship, and have formed a strong bond that will remain, whatever the outcome of our time apart," she said.
The Ngiyasifela hitmaker asked for privacy during the process.
"In the meantime, Robin and I sincerely request that our privacy be respected during this difficult time. We thank you in advance for your understanding,” Lira wrote on Instagram.
Sadly sometimes love doesn't always work the way we want it to work. These unfortunately could not resolve their problems and they went their separate ways.
