Earlier this year sports presenter Carol Tshabalala announced that her partner had asked for her hand in marriage.
Tshabalala took to Instagram to reveal that her fiancé knows what having real taste is, “My fiancé has impeccable taste! Only the best, only @thediamondguy_” In another post she wrote, “Here’s to being Mrs. S. I love you now and forever more my J.”
Carol then quoted a saying which paid homage to engagements and it reads, “Engagement marks the end of a whirlwind romance and the beginning of an eternal love story. True love stories never
Following lobola negotiations which appear to have gone pretty smoothly, Carol Tshabalala announced that she was married traditionally, wearing a beautiful blue dress.
She says the negotiations are a coming together of Zulu and Pedi families.
This is believed to be Carol's second marriage as she was married to Solomon Manana when she was only 19 years old and has two kids with her ex.

Wedding Season Is Really Upon Us
YoTV golden generations starg Karabo Ntshweng is now a married woman. She and her husband got married traditionally about two weeks ago.
Her former co-star on YoTV Sidwell Ngwenya and his wife came through to show support Karabo and her hubby support.
Ngwenya and his let us into the wedding by sharing videos on his Instagram stories.
In 2021 Karabo took to social media to reveal that her bae has popped the big question and she said YES! She shared a snap of her partner on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.
Two years ago the 5FM radio presenter found herself trending on Twitter as tweeps speculated that she was pregnant. Ntshweng, however, was left unimpressed with the claims. Responding to the rumours, she revealed that she was not pregnant and that her weight gain was caused by the medication that she was on.
"I’m so tired of being asked if I’m pregnant on social media guys please leave me alone bathong. I’m on some really fu…d up medication and your insensitivity doesn’t make it easier.
In June this year, Ntshweng had her bridal shower in Johannesburg attended by her close friends and family. Sharing a video on social media, she posted:
“My family through the most epic bridal shower for me and gathered all my favourite people for my final soirée as Miss Ntshweng! What a vibe.”
DJ Zinhle is another celebrity to get married in recent months. The Unexpected which airs weekly started off with Zinhle revealing that she and her second baby daddy, Bongani Mohosana, are married!
Bongani, who is famously known as Murdah Bongz, or Mörda, has a baby with the Indlovu hitmaker named Asante Mohosana. They each have kids from their previous relationships.
During the first season of The Unexpected, DJ Zinhle always spoke about how much she does not want to get married. “I’m not going to get married, ever!”
But, she slowly warmed up to the idea of being a wife and having Bongani as her husband.
Zinhle said that 6 months ago, Bongani's family went to her home and discussed lobola. It is generally known that once lobola is paid, the couple is traditionally married.
