Following the news of the shocking murder of AKA, the media houses in SA camped outside his home in Bryanston. Images and videos of mourners were released and Zinhle was one of them. She arrived with her mentor Oskido.

Hours later, she took to social media to pay tribute to AKA by posting various images of him including ones with their daughter Kairo Forbes and another one of them together and lastly an image of him and Oskido.
Tony and Lynn Forbes, his parents confirmed his death on Friday, 10 February in Durban. They asked for prayers in dealing with the death.
“It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son, and confirm his untimely and tragic passing on the evening or February 10, 2023. We are awaiting further details from Durban police.
“To us, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, most importantly father to his beloved daughter Kairo,” his parents added. “To many, he was AKA, Supa Mega, Bhova and the many other names of affection his legion of fans called him by. Our son was loved and gave love in return.”
Social media users made Zinhle trend and shared their thoughts about the entire unfortunate situation.
