DBN Gogo and Focalistic broke the internet back in 2022 when the couple confirmed their relationship with the touching post of the then couple spending Valentine’s Day in Paris together. Thereafter, the then-couple and long-time friends were inseparable as they seemed to travel to their gigs together.

However, by January 2023, the rumour mill over their alleged breakup was circulating. As reported then:

People who claim to be close to the couple, told the publication that they have broken up and will probably never address the reason for their split publicly.

While they might have not confirmed their split, with fellow Amapiano artist Pabi Cooper bursting to show off her new relationship with a then “mystery” man, it seemed that Focalistic and Pabi were more than just friends.

Focalistic celebrated his 27th birthday on Sunday, 28 May 2023. The Ke Star hitmaker celebrated in Miami as part of the Afronation 2023 lineup. However, what was particular was Focalistic seemed to invite Pabi Cooper as his plus one.

While the two initially posted each other via the stories only, it seemed that Pabi Cooper was intent on making it clear that her “dawg” was the love of her life currently. This is as she took to Twitter to officially wish him a “happy birthday.”

Safe to say, as the post was shared on social media, tweeps used the comments section to drag Pabi for flaunting allegedly “bricking” DBN Gogo as they called her a downgrade.
