The outspoken media personality who has gained a multitude of listeners in his more than 40 years career on radio has managed to keep his family life out of the limelight for the longest time.

Thuso Motaung’s wife is a middle-aged woman called Mamontha Motaung. Even though she works in the media industry, Mamontha is a very private person and very little is known about her.

What does Mamontha Motaung do?
Like Thuso Motaung, Mamontha Motaung is also a media personality and is reported to be the manager of Motsweding FM and Lesedi FM.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Thuso Motaung’s wife holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Leadership and a second degree in Business Management from the University of Free State.
Her LinkedIn also indicates that she is a former principal announcer at Lesedi FM, and is currently the provisional general manager of Northern Cape SABC.
How long have Thuso Motaung and his wife been married?
According to sources, Thuso Motaung and his wife met in 2002 and have been together for the past 20 years.
It is however unclear where the two met or when they got married, although there is a possibility that they met on Lesedi FM where they both work.

Does Thuso Motaung have any children?
It is unclear whether or not Thuso Motaung and his wife have any children together since the two are very private when it comes to their family.
However, reports indicate that Thuso Motaung has an older daughter called Keke Moloi who gained popularity in 2007 for suing Motaung for child maintenance. She followed up with a second lawsuit in 2011, after reporting that Motaung had failed to comply with the court order that was imposed on him.
According to sources, Moloi was born in 1982 when Motaung was still a teacher and her mother whom very little is known about was Motaung’s student.

Did Thuso Motaung’s wife have a child out of wedlock?
In 2017, rumours rocked the media that Thuso Motaung’s wife was pregnant with another man’s child. The alleged father of the child was identified as politician Ace Magashule.
Thuso dismissed the claims as rumours. He also said that the information had hurt his family and threatened to sue whoever was behind the rumour.
Did Thuso Motaung’s wife divorce him?
Another widespread rumour that has been doing rounds for some time now is that Thuso Motaung and his wife are divorced.
