Just as 2018 was filled a number of headlines announcing couples celebrating the arrival of their bundles of joy, new celebrity couples showing off their love, some couples calling quits and even getting back together, Mmatema has announced that she’s found her prince charming and 2019 has now marked a different milestone for her after recently getting married.

Idols SA runner up, Mmatema Moremi has got a lot to celebrate in 2019, from getting a presenter slot on SABC 1 last year, to becoming an actress on etv’s popular soapie, Rhythm City, and now getting married to the love of her life, the media personality surely has a lot to smile about.

Taking to her Instagram timeline on Monday Morning, Matema Moremi - now Mrs Gavu penned down her excitement about being traditionally welcomed by her in-laws to her husbands family.

“I got married and accepted by my in-laws. You can call me Mrs G. I am married” she wrote.

Not every celebrity has to find love in the arms of a celebrity, some celebrities find love in the arms of people that are not in the limelight, and most times - because of the pressures of fame - that's exactly what they prefer.

Looking at the intimate images that Mmatema has shared of her and a man on her social platforms, the media personality is allegedly in a loving relationship with her producer, Tshepo Gavu.

Speaking to Drum Magazine during an interview in 2017, Mmatema spoke about the inspiration behind her single 'Ke Lerato', saying that it was drawn from a conversation she had with her producer.

"I was having a conversation with my producer Tshepo Gavu  who suggested I write a song about love , at first I was hesitant but when he played the melody for me the scripture from the bible verse in  1 Corinthians 13 came to my heart and that's how the process of the song came about."

Although the two have not yet confirmed their union, fans seem to be convinced that the two have certainly tied the knot together.

The media personality who has been singing since 10-years-old has been adamant that music is her first love, and as she's grown to spread her wings within the entertainment industry, we're glad that she gets to celebrate doing what she loves with the person that she loves the most too.

"...music has always been the first love for me and that’s why, even on Gospel Unplugged, they saw that she’s a singer and she can present so let’s put the two together…” she said, speaking to Afternoon express.

Well..while we wait for her to confirm those news, we congratulate her regardless.
