Mobi Dixon and his wife are expecting their second-born baby. The DJ recently took to Instagram to share the good news.
He shared a series of pictures on Instagram giving his fans a sneak peek inside his wife's baby shower.
Fans and other celebrities including Generations: The Legacy star Zola Nombona, Kayise, and Lerato Mvelase have since taken to the comments section to congratulate the couple.
The DJ also expressed his excitement to TshisaLive. He told the publication that they have been planning for another baby for a while. He said, "We're having a boy and we're really excited. We've been wanting to have a second born but the plans were delayed due to Covid-19.
He also told the publication that he plans to teach his sons accountability and independence.
"I was born in a place where even though the means were there for certain things, we weren't spoilt. We were taught to work hard for our things and be accountable for our actions so I think that's what is to teach my kids. To be a man and independent so you can stand up and start your own family one day," TshisaLive quoted him.
MEANWHILE, Punchline Media has announced that it has parted ways with its several artists after five years. The record label released a statement recently announcing that Manu WorldStar, Dee XCLSV, Luna Florentino, and Tony X are no longer part of the stable.
"The past few years have been a unique and exciting journey for all of us. Working together with these talented musicians, we managed to start from nothing to make waves in the music industry. We signed and executed various deals with the likes of Sony Music and UMG," read the statement.
The stable continued to share that they have also launched collaborative adventures with several brands in Africa. Punchline Media said the journey was challenging, eye-opening, and fulfilling.
“Punchline continues to consult and collaborate with other talent outside the scope of full-on management. Aside from this, our intention now is to press the reset button and use the experience gained from this journey to take it even further. We are excited to explore this new journey and wish the guys the best of luck in their next adventures.”
Dee XCLSV also released a statement on his social media confirming the break-up. He said he has been with Punchline Media since the beginning of his career.
His statement read, “I would like to formally announce that Punchline and I have decided to go our separate ways. My time with Punchline was an exciting and memorable journey. We managed to release my first official single, two EP's, and a collaborative venture with UMG, among many other achievements
“Each milestone was exciting and I will always be grateful for everything we managed to achieve together. I wish Punchline all the best and I am ready to begin my new journey,” said Dee XCLSV.
Dee also wished the record label the best for their future endeavors adding that he is ready to begin his new journey.
