Taking to Instagram, Nadia highlighted how difficult it is for her to get over the pain of losing AKA. She said ‘hurt’ does not describe how she is feeling.
“This pain is just to much to bare, everyone says it’s something I will learn to live with. I just don’t believe it. Everyday it just gets worse. I don’t know how to deal with this. Saying it hurts doesn’t explain the level of this pain. This hole in my heart will never be filled. People go through heartache and are held together through their grieve by their partner. How do I deal with the grieve of losing my partner, the person that was supposed to support me is who I’ve lost. God, I miss you Kiernan.”

Her first post after the burial of AKA sent everyone on an emotional rollercoaster.
“My Heart is shattered, this is not what our future was meant to look like. I can’t believe I said my final goodbye to you yesterday,” wrote Nadia.
“I’ll never see you again for the rest of my lifetime? You loved me loud and proud, thank you baby. Protected me, Prayed for me, inspired me. I find it hard to breath let alone find the words to explain how much I love you. I’m really going to miss all the special moments we’ve had. This really hurts! I can’t come to terms with the fact that I’ll never hear you say you love me, I’ll never hear your laugh,” continued Bragga.
Nadia then said she realised that Kiernan spent the rest of his life with her, when her plan was the other way around.
In another post she said a little prayer via a bible quote.
AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes thanked Nadia for loving her son despite his imperfections.
“Love and Respect” before proceeding to say, “Love is not a reason to tolerate disrespect. Nadia Nakai I am forever indebted to you for the way you love and respect my son to this day. You showed him what real love and respect is and you brought out the absolute best in him.
“Kiernan was born with love, raised in love, gave love to so many and all he wanted in return was to be loved and respected in the same way. You gave that to him and he died surrounded by love. Thank you.”
Glammy then shared a quote from Sylvester McNutt who speaks of true love, “I don’t think most people understand what true love is. It’s not the cheesy “couple goals” posts for Instagram. It’s not the fancy dates, the happy hours, or the majestic nights laughing at silly movies.
“True love is waking up in the middle of the night to help you when you’re sick because I don’t want you to be sick alone. It’s being your shoulder to cry on, to vent to. True love is being your biggest cheerleader and toughest critic. True love is looking at each other on a spiritual level, a level so deep, that you can feel them when they’re gone. True love is six little words, “no matter what, I got you.”
