Nomcebo’s background and career

The gifted musician was born on 28 October 1985 in Hammarsdale, Kwa-Zulu Natal where she was also raised.
She studied at Ukusa High School in Kwa-Zulu Natal after which she left for Johannesburg to try her luck in the music world because her parents couldn’t afford to sponsor her further education.

Following the success of Jerusalema,Nomcebo went on to release her debut album titled Xola Moya Wam which featured Makhadzi, Master KG and Bongo Beats. The album was also a huge success and was certified platinum.
