Palesa Temba Gets Married

Palesa Tembe is SABC 3’s Espresso host, who got the job following the SABC 3 presenter search back in 2018. Since then she has become one of the remaining SABC 3 hosting personalities as most of the lifestyle shows on the channel have been canned.

In terms of her private life, the presenter has been open in sharing her relationship with her then-boyfriend Mandlenkosi Veli Ngubane. It is unclear as to when the couple first started dating as the two went social media official back in October 2022.

Palesa concluding her nuptials comes after she had recently shared a touching post on Valentine’s Day, which was dedicated to her now husband.

In light of her milestone, it also revealed that Palesa is friends with The Wife lead actress Mbalenhle Mavimbela. This is as she took to the comments section to congratulate her bestie on joining the Ngubane family.

Research in Ngubane reveals that the personality is not in the entertainment business. Instead. Ngubane is the owner of Avatar Agency, which is touted as a creative agency. A description of the company states:

AVATAR is an established and successful full-service agency group with specialist agencies in traditional advertising, digital advertising, public relations, B2B consulting and media.

AVATAR unites a professional team of over 100 marketers in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban which consists of creatives, developers, writers, strategists, account managers, producers and many others. We create ideas which impact some of the world’s most recognised brands including KFC, Tecno, BP, Nivea, Nokia and Unilever to disruptive challenger brands like us.

The announcement of the wedding is a call for celebration for the Tembe family. Especially given the February the family has had to deal with. Specifically, in regards to allegations of the family being involved in the assassination of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes. Allegations that the family has rebuked when it was reported that:

Nellie’s father Moses Tembe, has issued another statement imploring everyone to stop circulating the fake allegations.

According to Moses, they are gravely concerned about the flood of posts on various social media platforms that accuse him and his family of allegedly assassinating the rapper.

“It is with grave concern that my family and I have had to endure a flurry of posts on various social media platforms that accuse me, and members of my family, of being involved in the death of Kiernan’ AKA’ Forbes,” the Durban businessman said in the statement.

“These accusations are untrue and without substance. I categorically state that my family feel the pain of the Forbes family and would never be involved in an abhorrent act of this nature.”

In a statement, he described the allegations as cruel and libelous. “After having to deal with the tragedy of the untimely passing of our daughter, this senseless crime has taken a further emotional toll on us. I respectfully request the individuals making these baseless statements to refrain from doing so.”
