Despite attempts to discredit them, the allegations continue to torment the family and tarnish their reputation. Ever since the Fela Versace hitmaker was mercilessly murdered, there have been conspiracy theories surrounding his death, and social media continue to point fingers.
Tweeps have accused Tembe of allegedly ordering a hit on the late rapper following the death of their daughter, Nellie Tembe's tragic passing. Nellie died in 2021 after she fell from the 10th floor of the luxury Pepperclub hotel in Cape Town.
Following her passing, AKA was accused of allegedly being behind her murder and now tables have turned as there are allegations that the Tembe family might be the masterminds behind the rapper's murder, rumors which they have dismissed as untrue on numerous occasions.
Nellie's father Moses Tembe, has issued another statement imploring everyone to stop circulating the fake allegations.
According to Moses, they are gravely concerned about the flood of posts on various social media platforms that accuse him and his family of allegedly assassinating the rapper.
"It is with grave concern that my family and I have had to endure a flurry of posts on various social media platforms that accuse me, and members of my family, of being involved in the death of Kiernan' AKA' Forbes," the Durban businessman said in the statement.

"These accusations are untrue and without substance. I categorically state that my family feel the pain of the Forbes family and would never be involved in an abhorrent act of this nature."
In a statement, he described the allegations as cruel and libelous. "After having to deal with the tragedy of the untimely passing of our daughter, this senseless crime has taken a further emotional toll on us. I respectfully request the individuals making these baseless statements to refrain from doing so."
Recently, Daily Sun reported that Moses Tembe dismissed allegations that they allegedly ordered a hit on AKA.
"We've never judged Kiernan, and we demonstrated our love for him to the very last day. We're so saddened by this sad eventuality as it robs us of the opportunity we have been waiting for so patiently to vindicate out daughter in court or inquest" reported the publication
In light of the tragic passing of their son, Moses Tembe humbly requested a visit with the Forbes family to pay his last respects.
"I would to visit his home and convey out condolences in person. As a parent, I feel deep pain for Kierna's parent (Tony and Lynn) his daughter Kairo and the whole family at large. Kiernan's extraordinary music contributed to South African's rich musical tapestry. We extend our condolences to his extended family and his fans" reported the publication.
