Tweeps Divided Over Pearl’s Relationship Advice

Not too long ago, media personality Pearl Modiadie took to dish out some relationship advice that has had many raising their eyebrows as to what she might have meant exactly.

Taking to her Twitter, Pearl tweeted saying, “Just because they desire you, doesn’t mean they value you” As you can already imagine, tweeps have shown up in numbers to comment and give their opinion of the matter.

Most of them have firstly asked exactly what she meant, saying that for them, if they do value someone, they will eventually desire them or vice versa. Others have also gone ahead to describe the different types of desire that have a different kind of value attached to them.

If u desire someone u do see them with some kind of value, otherwise u wouldn’t desire them.

There are different types of desires & their endings differ. Lust & infatuation are temporary itches. Once the person has gotten what they wasn’t from you, once the itch has been scratched, the other party is discarded.

I don’t know about others but the Value I place on someone makes me desire that person. My desire always generate from how much I value you.

But even as many continue to debate on what exactly it means to value someone and desire them, others seem to agree fully with Pearl’s sentiments saying that yes, just because there is desire, does not mean that the other person values the relationship. 

yeah, they could just want to tap that thing. could be u possess some much needed aspiration, they wish their partners would display the same personality & appearance. some kind of woman, eminence. calibre, better be cautious. not every1 is out to get u, but be aware nonetheless

For others, they have also used this chance to shoot their shot at Pearl saying that they desire her and still value her at the same time. And while the former Zaziwa presenter has not actively responded to these advances, I’m sure she must be cracking up reading some of the hilarious comments.

That aside however, fans recently woke up to the pleasant news that Pearl had landed her very first major acting gig, in a new TV series, Entangled on 1 Magic. The news was received with much excitement because fans could not wait to see her as the lead supporting cast of the RomCom.

In the series, she would be playing as Andiswa, alongside Senzo Radebe who plays Reggie, Andiswa’s baby daddy. The show which has already premiered on our screens has been receiving a lot of rave reviews and we couldn’t be any happier to see that our fave actors and personalities are part of something great.
