Pearl On Why She Can't Date A Guy Who Earns Less Than Her

Last night’s episode of Dinner At Somizi’s was beyond lit. The two guests, Zinhle and Pearl were spilling the tea left right and centre. At one point in the show, Somizi asked his guests if they would date a guy who earns less than them and Pearl’s answer was an honest no!

Pearl attributes her answer to her childhood and how the issue of money affected her parents’ relationship and as a result, she’s struggled to get over it. She then added that she doesn’t want to have that type of problem in her relationship.

For Zinhle, however, how much a guy makes is not an issue in her life as she was raised by an independent mother. All she wants is to be loved and allowed to flourish.
