The outgoing TV extraordinaire hinted that he might just be taken when he flaunted a beautiful diamond ring. He is currently going through a very messy, very public divorce with estranged husband Mohale Motaung, but that will not stop him from pursuing love when it finds him.
In almost all of his social media posts from this past weekend, Somgaga is flaunting his "engagement" ring, making sure we do not miss it.
A tweep even shared a clip from his Instagram stories where another man is also wearing a ring on his engagement finger.
Somizi had redesigned his old wedding ring into a promise ring. The gorgeous diamond ring got turned into an even better promise ring by Nungu Diamonds. "@nungudiamonds have done the things...So I asked them to redesign my old wedding ring into a fabulous promise ring.....and this is what they did....TO NEW BEGINNINGS."
Their wedding rings were designed by Nungu for a staggering R2,9m. They were even going to exchange vows three times but their union reached it's demise.
This was because of abuse allegations levelled against him by Mohale in an audio clip leaked by an unknown source. He had been stripped off from numerous work and left unemployed but bounced back like never before.
He once addressed this before and said that it was a very tough time in his career.
"Honestly as you may have all noticed, I haven't spoken about anything. My private life is my private life and my work life is my work life. I feel like I can't say anything at the moment and I don't want to say anything. All I can say is that it was one of the toughest times in my career but we move on, like they say you are innocent until proven guilty," he said.
Now Somhale have rejoined forces and decided to sue Legend Manqele for not paying them some money for their wedding special. Sunday World reported that Legend was allegedly told by SARS not to pay Somizi. He had however denied leaking the damning audio.
Mohale had said he trusted Legend who conducted the interview so he did not expect to be betrayed by whoever leaked it. "I trusted the person with whom I was engaging and did not divulge such details for any material gain. In these conversations, I was laying case to reason why I would not want the details of our divorce to be used in the upcoming season of the reality show as this would not reflect the complete truth, and furthermore, did not want the details thereof to be used for financial gain."
