It's evident that even the some of our biggest stars are not safe in SA anymore. Sources this morning are reporting that gospel star, Ringo Madlingozi was robbed by burglars in his home. The vocalist was in his home-based recording studio when the buglars broke in into his Buccleuch home, in the north of Johannesburg. The thugs stole Ringo’s guitar and other musical instruments- thankfully, they were respectful enough to leave the awards he had won over the years that were on display in his home.

Ringo spoke to the Sunday Sun and confirmed that robbers had indeed broken into his home and taken some of the singer's personal belongings.

“I can tell you that my guitar and other valuables that I can’t mention were stolen. I can’t reveal how much the goods are worth because I don’t want to alert these thieves" Ringo said. He went on to add, “This may be a news story to you. But for me, there’s a need to know why this happening and why the government is not taking care of it. I’m not the first person to suffer a robbery – and we should all help and solve this problem”.

We hope that the police find these thugs with all of Ringo’s belongings.
