South African media personality, Somizi, took to Instagram on Tuesday, 12 May 2020, to show off his delicious dinner prepared for himself and husband, Mohale Motaung. The television star was seen putting the final touches on his Italian spread, which comprised spaghetti, along with a muscle and prawn sauce. Somizi comically was seen testing if his pasta was done by throwing it on the ceiling, which he claimed was the perfect trick to know if your pasta is cooked.
Somizi’s pasta sauce saw decadent prawns and muscles in a white sauce, which was enhanced with the addition of parmesan cheese. He then plated it by placing the spaghetti in a large bowl using a nesting style and added the creamy sauce to the middle of the dish. His special take on the standard dish saw him garnishing the bowl with raw broccoli, which he says adds in an element of nutrients.
Fans shared their praises on the video, with many requesting that he shares the recipe. Mkulu Qhabe stated, “As if I wasn’t hungry enough already?? Share the recipe next time too.”
Prince Bhengu also commented with, “He’s a chef! Perfect wifey material.”
