Stogie T and his wife, Babongile “Bongi” Molekane, have reached a meaningful milestone in their marriage.
The rapper celebrated the couple’s 15th wedding anniversary on Thursday with a touching message shared on Instagram.
Alongside photographs from their October 22, 2011 wedding, Stogie T reflected on the years they have spent together and the faith that has carried their relationship through every chapter.
“When you look back at these pictures, you understand just how quickly time passes,” he wrote. “Scripture tells us that life on earth is like a vapour, a mist visible briefly before it disappears. But throughout that fleeting time, God’s providence has remained our foundation.”
He continued by describing their wedding as a beautiful and sacred occasion, while stressing that the lasting commitment of marriage has been the real journey. “Our wedding was a glorious day, a bright and holy moment filled with light, happiness and celebration, but it was only an altar; marriage is the living sacrifice,” he said.
“The wedding was a memory formed in one afternoon, while the marriage has been fifteen years of grace, patient perseverance, shared sorrow, steadfast joy and two imperfect people kept together by a faithful God. We honour the people we have lost, treasure the laughter with gratitude and, most importantly, praise the Lord who created this union and has sustained it in every season. I treasure that memory, but our marriage is an eternal work. Happy 15th anniversary, my love Bongi. Here’s to another fifteen beneath His grace.”
Leleti Khumalo and Skhuthazo Khanyile have also recently marked an anniversary of their own, celebrating 14 years together.
“Fourteen years of complete bliss,” Leleti wrote in her post. “We are deeply thankful to God for His grace over us and our union. Happy anniversary, Khanyile.”
