Roc Nation is one of the music industry's most revered record labels. Therefore, it would serve as an absolute honour and privilege for most artists to be signed or somehow assimilated to the American label.
South African rap maverick, Stogie T is seemingly on a winning streak as he shared on his Instagram feed that he got invited to fellow rapper, Jayz's record label, Roc Nation Headquarters in New York.
This comes after Stogie had a sizzling run on one of America's most prestigious radio shows, Sway In The Morning. The award-winning rapper, whose real name is Tumi Molekane, simply captioned the picture: "You gotta(got to)be invited."
Roc Nation is home to well respected American musicians including, J.Cole, Rihanna and Big Sean, to mention a few. Could Stogie be the next addition to the Roc family?
The details surrounding this visit are still blurry, but the rapper has surely created anticipation. Stogie T's international run has proven to be quite fruitful as he recently caused mayhem after spitting dazzling bars on Sway In The Morning.
This kind of achievement came as no surprise because the rapper has carved a highly commendable reputation as a strong MC.
Some of us are itching to know what the invitation entailed as it is not a regular thing for a South African artist to be invited to the headquarters of Roc Nation. It seems the label is a dream for a lot of artists. Remember when Nasty C revealed that Roc Nation had shown interest in working with him back in 2016? You can read all about it here.
