Moropa’s sister, Thato Kunene, also posted a TikTok tribute filled with emotional snapshots from the wedding. Opening with “Cats out the bag! Tadaaa,” she described the footage as a small look at the joyful disorder surrounding her brother’s big day.
Kunene recalled the frantic preparations, the pre-ceremony nerves and the quiet moments in between, before watching the event come together. She said the day would always remain especially meaningful to her.
Her message also focused on the wider significance of the marriage. Kunene said Moropa had reshaped her family’s story in numerous ways and that she was deeply proud of the man he had become.
She wrote that she adored her brother and felt privileged to see him meet his “person” in Mika. In her words, Mika had brought light into his life, and she was thankful their paths had crossed.
Kunene described the occasion as a moving celebration of romance, family and fresh beginnings. She said she was honoured to attend, witness the moment and preserve a small part of it.

Moropa and Ngobeni have allowed their romance to unfold quietly in public over several years. In February 2023, Moropa said he was certain they would remain together for life, calling Mika his “rib and cage.”
He later paid lobola and brought followers along for parts of that journey. The couple have also shared glimpses of their life together on Instagram and TikTok.
Ngobeni has developed a following in her own right as a digital creator, particularly through camera-roll-inspired posts on TikTok and Instagram.
Kunene’s longer wedding post repeated the emotional highlights, from the rush of getting ready to the nerves and intimate in-between moments. She again praised her brother’s growth, celebrated the way Mika had become his light and called the wedding a new chapter for their family.
She ended the extended caption by declaring, “My brother is married,” followed by crying and white-heart emojis, and added the playful celebration “ALILILILILI.” The post tagged @Bongani and @Kat.
