Although SABC 3’s initial plan was to add three new presenters to the family as they have been doing over the years, they surprised everyone by doubling that number and growing their family by 6.
After a gruelling audition process, intense workshops and some tough eliminations, SABC 3 has added 6 brand new faces to the channel as the fourth season of Presenter Search on 3 comes to an end. The search culminated in an intimate announcement dinner at Montecasino’s Fireroom on Thursday night.
According to SABC 3, the show’s judges Patience Stevens, DJ Fresh, Sbusiso Kumalo and Jeannie D were so impressed by the overwhelming amount of talent and have decided to open up the industry even further by welcoming Harmony Katulondi, Ryle De Morny, Fezile Mkhize,Palesa Tembe, and Thabiso Makhubela to the SABC 3 family on a permanent basis.

Mosa Kaiser will be joining the Expresso morning show as a field reporter as the judges struggled with letting her talent go but felt as though she still had a little growing to do as a presenter.
“I am really happy about my new gig with Expresso. It promises to be a lot of fun and I am excited to bring my unique style and spunk to these inserts. I am so proud of myself and I am excited for the journey that lies ahead,” expressed Mosa.

Three of the contestants, Harmony, Ryle and Fezile found themselves in such and epic bromance as early as the masterclass stage, that they decided to name it ‘The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.’ The bromance will continue as the trio join the Top Billing family to travel the country and the world in an effort to continue bringing viewers the best of the good life.

“Speaking French will allow me to add to an international flare to Top Billing. My diverse background, upbringing and curious nature will also bring an interesting perspective to the segments,” said Harmony shortly after the announcement.
While Ryle promised to “ bring a fresh new energy to this show. I hope to share as much love as possible and take my viewer on awesome journeys with me as we discover and showcase moments, events and areas in a unique, raw and genuinely real way.”
Dr. Fezile on the other hand simply plans to maintain the high standard that he says Top Billing has always been known for, while adding “a huge dose of whimsy, energy and most importantly heart!”

Lastly, the uber-suave brand analyst Thabiso Makhubela (or Thabzy M as he is popularly known on social media) will be joining South Africa’s feel-good breakfast show, Expresso.
“I love Expresso and I can’t wait to bring my refreshing, upbeat energy to the show. The show is extremely important because people are waking up and the tone on the show sets the audience’s mood for the entire day. I am like the power bank for the people and I don’t take that responsibility lightly,” stated Thabiso.
The hard work starts right away and you can tune in to Top Billing this Saturday, 4 August, to see the show’s new faces and Expresso and Afternoon Express on Monday, 6 August to see their new additions in action.
