Gone are the days when musicians were just merely that, musicians. Now we see rappers hosting TV shows, being event MC’s and even radio personalities.
The latest rapper to add another job title to his resume’ is AKA who has been confirmed as the newest member of the Touch-HD family.
According to Destiny Connect, AKA will start his new show – The Super Mega Show in mid-June.
Touch-HD manager, Martin Vilikazi confirmed the news as well.
Yes, we’re talking with AKA because we hold him in very high esteem. And I can confirm that we have formed a strategic alliance and scheduled the Super Mega Show. As an online station, we always have to come up with a strategy to grow the business. This partnership with AKA is going to be tight, that I can promise. And it’s definitely going to launch this month,” said Martin.
AKA will now join the likes of Thembisa Mdoda, Sammy Sosa, Glen Lewis plus more on the online radio station.
