AKA is celebrating after his Levels album was certified platinum on Thursday.
The offering has sold over 40,000 copies, earning the rapper platinum status.
Three singles off the album, Run Jozi, Congratulate, and All Eyes on Me, have already gone gold.
The achievement proves that South Africans are still loving the 2014 offering.
AKA thanked his fans their support on social media.

AKA’s milestone comes one year after he questioned how iFani’s album, I Believes in Me (2nd quadrant), went gold in one day.
He even accused Redd’s SA of buying 20,000 of the albums to achieve the status.
AKA let his fans know that he achieved his milestone without any big endorsements.
Thank YOU. No sponsors. No brands. Just 40 000 cold hard sales. Ⓜ️ … That’s truly epic. Thank YOU.
