The former The Queen actress shared this experience on her social media this week and explained that she could not agree to his request because she might have blocked him for a reason. Many people, especially prominent people protect their peace by removing negative energy as much as they possibly can.
Explaining her reasoning for blocking people on social media and why she might have blocked this person in particular, she mentioned numerous scenarios such as being racist, homophobic, sexist, support Gender Based Violence or being downright disrespectful especially to women and a cyber bully.
"Got stopped by metro police on my way home a little while ago. One of them said he didn’t want anything from me except for me to unblock him on Twitter. I hardly block people. My reasons aren’t that many. You get blocked if you’re racist, homophobic, sexist, support GBV, downright disrespectful especially to women and a cyber bully. I believe we can all have opinions without being mean to each other. So I wonder what he did," she said.
"I laughed. He gave me his handle and he is indeed blocked. Going through his TL to see what might have happened and so far he’s quite vulgar, even some of his friends," she added. Rami Chuene is known for being outspoken and never keeps her opinion to herself. A few days ago she was impressed by the Hawks' recent arrests and advised them to look into the greedy entertainment industry bosses.
"As soon as Hawks are done with politics they must come to the mighty, unstoppable and greedy entertainment ‘gods’. The corruption, greed and exploitation has built many mansions and bought many cars leaving many artists broke since the days of Bophelo ke Semphekgo," she tweeted.
This raised a few eyebrows seeing how she is not The Fergusons biggest cheerleader and does not seem like she would be any time soon, even eight months after her axing.
According to Sunday World, all details pertaining to Rami's character being chopped emerged when they were given their scripts- that is when Rami found out that her character would be pulled off.
Reports by The Sunday World's source revealed that Rami's relationship with the fergusons hit rock bottom after she weighed in on the Vatiswa Ndara's exploitation saga.

The Veteran actress penned an open letter to the Sport, Arts and Culture Minister, Nathi Mthethwa, about what she alleged was the exploitation of actors in the industry; including poor remuneration and the working conditions. Rami supported Vatiswa by pinning a thread on Twitter detailing challenges thespians endure in the industry under the hashtag #SHOWMUSTGOON - a thread she had written months prior.
