AKA has re-affirmed that he and Riky Rick are not foes and that they are actually good friends. This after he poked fun at Riky's relationship with Cassper Nyovest which seems to be in a rocky state at the moment. This was confirmed after Riky's Twitter rant after the release of Cassper Nyovest's song To Whom It May Concern which seems to address their friendship. In the song Cassper speaks about a close friend who betrayed his trust, and many put two and two together and concluded that it was directed at Riky.

After confessing that his favourite song is To Whom It May Concern, AKA decided to poke fun again and this time around directed his message at Riky. He joked about Riky's ability to write catchy phrases and hooks since he 'thought he loved him.' Riky recently released a song titled Ungazincishi and AKA was referring to the title saying he cannot pronounce it.

"How do you come up with all these crazy catchphrases/hooks bro? @rikyrickworld ... hectic. I thought you loved me. Smh," tweeted AKA. He continued by adding, "As a Coloured person I read/say/sing it as ... u-ngang-gnish-ung-Ngang-Nish. Is that close enough?"

A follower who did not get AKA's joke said, "You'll never understand the things that go on in Riky's head." To which AKA responded: "He’s my friend. He doesn’t know you exist. Case closed."

The two of them have worked together in the past and have become good friends, according to AKA. He also made it clear that their friendship is not the result of them having beef with Cassper.

"Nah. It ain’t even like that. Riky isn’t about that negative shit. I don’t roll like that. Example. Tido is tight with Tsibi ... but he’s tight with me too, and I never press him about it," he said.

After fans heard his 'To Whom It May Concern' single, they advised Riky to reach out to Cassper as they thought he is hurting. Riky then responded by saying "EISH, funny thing we’ve spoken privately so dunno where that “explanation” of what happened came from. I'll keep reaching out to him, but I'm also getting tired of my name coming up when I relaxing nicely minding my business. It's like yall want me to put the full story on wax."

Things escalated with Riky poking fun at Cass shouting 'I thought you loved me' at the end of the song. Cassper has not yet responded to Riky’s rant publicly.
