Amanda Benedicta Antony professionally known as Amanda Black is getting ready to release her third album on Friday, 6 August.

Amanda took to Instagram to share her excitement leading up to her album release.
She said, "This Friday I’m releasing my third album Mnyama, and I’m extremely grateful to get to this milestone in my life and career. I’m celebrating 5 years as a recording artist and 10 years a performing artist, and 28 years as a lover of music. What a journey it has been. ❤️💫"
Amanda's Mnyama comes after her hit album Power in 2019 that featured industry greats such as Anthony Hamilton.
When Amanda released Power, In an exclusive interview with ZAlebs, she expressed that Power is about a lot of people's stories.
"There's a song for everybody in terms of the different stages we go through in life. It's a journey. There are songs about feeling low, low, low and there are songs about rising and getting up," she said.

Yesterday Amanda said, "Been doing so much reflection leading up to this week. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for all that I have done and all that i have received, the people I have met and the people I have lost. All that I’ve been through and all that I’ve overcome.
"All that I've forgotten and all that I now remember. I am grateful for life and love and family. grateful to remember my purpose, To heal and help rebuild. I am a natural born fighter, and will keep fighting for who I am, where I come from and who i come from and where I’m going.
Those chosen for the task often don't believe they are worthy, I am fighting to believe my worth at all times, so that no one can make me believe my contribution is useless to deter me from the mission. We will leave the world better than we found it. Aluta Continua"
