We hope you're ready for POWER - and no, we're not talking about the critically acclaimed television drama. We're talking about the title of Amanda Black's brand new album which she announced right at the end of last week.
Some people might have had doubts about how Amanda was going to do after leaving Ambitiouz Entertainment, but the singer has wasted no time in proving her doubters wrong since her departure from the high profile label. Life as an independent artist isn't easy but Amanda, amazingly, has taken her career to an even higher level than when she had the Ambitiouz supporting her. And now she's ready to show off the fruits of her labour.
Having teased new sounds and dropped two singles titled Thandwa Ndim' and Egoli, Amanda has officially confirmed the release of her brand new album and she has aptly titled it POWER.
Amanda surprised her fans with an announcement on Friday which included the album name as well as the artwork.
She didn't stop there. She also shared the tracklist for her brand new record which previewed an incredible 18 tracks to look forward to and some high profile features. Amanda will be teaming up with some of the finest vocalists on the planet including Ami Faku (who just released an album of her own) as well as Kush Mahleka and the Soweto Gospel Choir. She also teams up with Nigerian crooner Adekunle Gold and Grammy-award winning singer, Anthony Hamilton.
Celebrities and fans alike were extremely thrilled with the news; Celeste Ntuli led the way by sharing a massive "YEBO" in the comments section on Instagram. The album is scheduled to release on the 25th of October 2019 and we are already willing to put money on it being one of the biggest albums of the year.
In the meantime, what better way to anticipate POWER's release than by enjoying her latest single?
