Generations might have turned her down the first time she auditioned but they're surely not regretting giving her the role of the feisty Getty. Andisiwe is an incredible actress and she has been blowing us away with her talent.
Many may not remember but Dweba's Generations character was first introduced in the old Generations and when the soapie returned after its hiatus in December 2014 with a brand new cast, Dweba was offered a leading role in the drama. She says after facing some harsh criticism from viewers in the beginning, they are finally beginning to warm up to her.

Born in the Eastern Cape, Andisiwe’s love for the arts started at a very young age, she has been involved in drama and dance since the age of 9. After completing her Matric in Port Elizabeth she studied at AFDA (CT) and City Varsity majoring in live performance. Having starred in a number of South African TV Dramas such as Kululeka, stokvel, Final Verdict and Flight of the stalk on BBC, the actress is determined to make a name for herself.

Andisiwe is also currently working on “diversity and inclusion” globally with CSW global an American industrial theatre company that trains corporations about diversity and inclusion at the work place. She hopes to inspire the youth to build a more diverse South Africa that is accepting of people regardless of race, sexuality and gender. Apart from all her other project, Andisiwe is working towards going behind the scenes and becoming a filmmaker in order to take her talent back to her hometown.
