Anele Mdoda Rehashes Another Gap Challenge

Anele Mdoda might be one of the most lauded broadcasters and hosts in South Africa. However, the businesswoman and executive producer of The Masked Singers SA is never afraid to poke fun at herself. A trait that has come in handy in the past, especially during the height of the hate she received for the hate she directed at Kelly Rowland.

Moreover, it seems that when needed, Anele is not afraid to revisit making fun of one of her signature attributes. Specifically, that is her gap.

Anele Mdoda’s gap has become one of her signatures. This is as the wealthy veteran broadcaster could have changed this a long time given just how much long money she has. However, given that this is an attribute that she shares with the rest of the Mdoda Sisters, she has kept it like the rest of her clan.

Recently, the star out of nowhere took to Twitter and shared an image which was the cause of much amusement. This is as Mdoda proved just how “spacious” her gap is. This is by sharing an image which saw her balance a R5 coin between her gap.

Of course, it did not take long until the comments section of the post was filled with comical captions to compliment the post. Even Nandos got in on the fun with yet another apt meme and caption suggesting that Mdoda should be afraid of germs.

I only worry about the coins that come from your tills. Phela we have seen the state there mos 😎 https://t.co/O5PB7eC5od

However, the former aspiring comedian was ready with her comeback as she was suggestive about just how many “dirty” objects have gone into her mouth.

Seeing as Twitter was having fun with her, Mdoda managed to turn the challenge of finding the most comical comment into a competition. As such, she roped in Drip Footwear to gift the winner with a pair of new sneakers.

Therefore, Mdoda finally found her winner in the comments section. This was by a follower who managed to bring in financing and insurance as a metaphor to make the image all the more comical.

But this is not the first time that Mdoda has been able to create a challenge through highlighting her gap as a site for comical relief. Back in 2020, Mdoda was reported to have started another challenge. As reported:

“Mirror mirror on the wall, who has the biggest gap of them all?”

That’s the question hundreds of tweeps are asking themselves after Anele Mdoda issued a nationwide call to find the South African with the biggest gap between their teeth.

Anele – who has a gap herself – loves cracking jokes, even at her own expense. She’s mocked her own shoe size, body shape and even parenting styles….and now she is going to town on her biggest and best feature – her gap!

It all started when one tweep tagged Anele and boasted about having a bigger gap than hers. But the super-competitive star was not impressed and since then has been hilariously judging others on their signature smiles.

Anele’s #tweetyourgap saw countless tweeps come forward to show off their pearly whites and we have to say, it was pretty funny!
