Anele Mdoda’s Subtle Shade To Terry Pheto

Amidst actress Terry Pheto being at loggerheads with the Special Investigating Unit (SIU), radio host Anele Mdoda has thrown a very subtle shade at Pheto’s direction. Following her Bryanston house failing to close on a sale yesterday, Pheto continues to be a hot topic.

Exactly four months ago, Tsotsi actress and TV producer Terry Pheto was implicated in fraud and corruptions charges following unlawfully awarded million of rands by the NLC.

Reportedly, Terry Pheto and eight other people were being investigated by the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) for alleged fraud and corruption relating to funding from the National Lotteries Commission (NLC). It was also revealed that Pheto was also linked with LOTTO former boss.

Following her Bryanston home listed for auction yesterday in order for the SIU to retrieve some of the monies Pheto has been allegedly accused of having unlawfully benefited from. Tweeps have also caught on Anele Mdoda‘s shade towards the troubled Pheto with the Special Investigating Unit (SIU)

Subsequently, tweeps have slammed Mdoda as a mean girl with mean girl energy. The outrage comes from the level of insensitivity and having no compassion displayed by Mdoda to Pheto during the trying times of her life. Despite whether or not she committed the crimes she has been accused of, tweeps expected Mdoda not to kick Pheto while she is already on the ground.

The public have also learned that Terry Pheto’s Bryaston luxurious home failed to close on a sale yesterday.  According to the SABC, Pheto’s mansion failed to attract a buyer on Thursday. It is reported that the property is worth around R5 million, but none of the 28 registered bidders offered more than the starting bid of R3 million on Thursday.

The Special Investigating Unit spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago has mentioned tha, “There were no takers unfortunately, there were people who registered, about 28- people, but none of them put an offer on it, which is a very strange thing. The house is still available. What’s going to happen now, they will find other ways of dealing with the sale. All that we want is the money back, so that we can take that money back to the lottery, so that it is used for what it was intended for.”
