It is other’s day today and many local celebrities have taken to their social media platforms to show some love and appreciation for their mothers and to also celebrate motherhood. Real Housewives of Durban reality TV star Annie Mthembu penned sweet letters to her children. Annie is a proud mother of three beautiful kids.

Taking to Instagram, The businesswoman and dancer posted pictures of her children each followed by a heartwarming message. She said her last born taught her balance and consistency.

Letter to my First Child. A letter to my last born. You completed our little family. You taught me balance and consistency. Your calm, warm and lovable nature is infectious. I love being your mommy. My sonshine. Thank you for lighting up my life.”
Talking about her second baby she said she is grateful to be her mother and she is happy to see her grow.

“Letter to my second child. If there’s one thing every mother must learn, it’s patience and you made sure. Your quick mind is so interesting to watch. You are full of surprises and I am so blessed to be your “Mama”. I am so excited to watch you grow and grow with you. Thank you for choosing me.”
Annie said her firstborn taught her love, she said she thankful for the opportunity of being her mother.

“Letter to my First Child. First, you were my best friend, then later on I had to step up my game and become your true mother. You taught me love in a new way and I am so grateful and blessed to have had the privilege to learn how to love you. You are absolutely breathtaking, not only in your beauty but in your mindset and maturity. Thank you for allowing me to be your mother. I love you.”
She recently tied a knot with her long-time partner Kgolo Mthembu. Sharing cute snaps of her special day, Annie said that this period in her life is powerful, she said her wedding was delayed several times.

"This season of my life is so powerful in shaping my future, I am so grateful to share my wedding with the people I love and to truly celebrate life and new beginnings. The last year has been so difficult and uncertain: my wedding has been delayed so many times. So I am so grateful and blessed that everything was absolutely as I imagined: a perfect start to my new chapter."
