Asanda Foji has reached the end of her Generations: The Legacy journey.
The actress, who played Simphiwe on the popular soapie, made her exit in a dramatic and confusing way.
She was supposed to get married to her long-time sweetheart, Mazwi, but their relationship was nothing short of drama - they were both cheating on each other.
We guess the guilt got too much for Simpiwe, who ended up killing herself. Shame, she never made it down the aisle. This episode was a hit, especially on social media.
Some were really touched by the scene.
Okay, that scene was touching though. 😢 Is this the end of Simphiwe's character? #Generations— Kardas Peterson (@IamRoyalKarDas) December 1, 2015
Simphiwe died like a princess, all beautiful in her wedding gown #Generations— Aunty Fifi (@FieFie_) December 1, 2015
While others couldn't get over the fact that Simphiwe died in a seated position. Gravity for what?
Yesus, Generations takes us for fools. Lol why is Simphiwe the only person dead that can defy the force of gravity? 😂 #GenerationsTheLegacy— Aaliyah 2.0 (@Whos_Kamo) December 1, 2015
So Simphiwe died sitting in that position?! 😐 #Generations— TinklerOut (@Nombulelo_Tebo) December 1, 2015
#Generations Mazwi shook Simphiwe sooo many times but for her to fall?? Soze gravity!— T. (@_tawonga) December 1, 2015
Simphiwe from Generations defied the law of gravity....She died sitting but didnt fall even after few aggresive shakes.— Fifi Knox (@FifiKnox) December 1, 2015
And the inevitable happened. Tweeps even found the perfect coffin for her.
While viewers are mourning the soapie star's "death", her co-star Thuli Phongolo has taken to Instagram to share that she's enjoyed working with Asanda.
