A video of school kids imitating the Konka lifestyle left Mzansi stunned. The Internationally renowned DJ Black Coffee shared the video on his Twitter page.
"Tjooooooo Izolo e @KonkaSoweto nehubbly nebubbly nabantwana," he wrote jokingly, captioning the video.
Most comments admired the young boy in the video who imitated Black Coffee.
Here are a few comments from the post.
@Realshibaswagg wrote, ".... Out of all these kids, I see only one who has a strong role model. The one in the decks."
"Didn't see that 1 coming, black coffee on the 1s and 2s. I give 10 out of 10 to the editor and director of this video," tweeted @IamMarchoman.
Black Coffee is currently making big waves in the states. In one of his hilarious tweets, The DJ jokingly shared that he will not be coming home anytime soon.
The award-winning DJ bagged a Grammy nomination this year. He is nominated for the Best Dance/Electronic Album for his hit album Subconsciously.
He will also be performing at Coachella Festival this year alongside Harry Styles, Big Sean, and many more.
His first performance at the festival was in 2016. He again graced the Coachella stage in 2018. He was also on the lineup for last year's and 2020's festivals but, both events got canceled.
Another popular singer that will be performing at Coachella this year is Ari Lennox. The singer topped the trending topics in Mzansi a few days ago following her controversial interview with MacG on Mzansi's number 1 podcast "Podcast And Chill."
Ari went on a Twitter rant slamming MacG and his team for asking her, β...where are we at right now, someone f***ing you good right now."
The singer says she was uncomfortable with the questions and was surprised that some parts of the interview were not deleted as promised.
She wrote: "I'm just like, why was I on a call full of people? Why didn't anyone intervene? And why wasn't parts of of the interview destroyed like the team promised? Why did it happen to begin with? I just feel slow and ambushed and blind-sighted," she said.
She also added, "But fuck it! I donβt want anyone feeling sorry for me. Iβm tired of the narrative. Exhausted. Iβm good I promise. But as for interviews Iβm not doing them anymore. There are enough lives and interviews out there already."
The podcast has previously lost sponsors including Studio 88 because of the "offensive comments" made on the channel.
βThe Studio 88 Group stands firmly against the harmful and offensive commentary and statements made by MacG during one of his recent Podcast and Chill with MacG episodes as same goes against our core values and beliefs as a company group in SA.
"In light of the above, the Studio 88 Group wishes to distance ourselves completely from the aforementioned statements, podcast, and its host/s. We have therefore taken the decision to terminate, with immediate effect, any business/sponsorship relationship we may have with MacG.β
