The list was posted by City Press and is divided into two parts of the most admired men and women in the world according to South Africans as they listed their top 26.
In the male section Barack Obama holds the number 1 spot, with Trevor Noah, Cyril Ramaphosa, Bill Gates and American president Donald Trump following making up the top 5.
Bonang beats the world's biggest superstar Beyonce Knowles who is at number 9, South African born Charlize Theron who is at number 6, as well as South African politicians Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma who is at number 10 and at number 12 is Helen Zille.
Bonang's success and influence is undeniable as she keeps breaking barriers and raises the bar very high.
Bonang Matheba has so much to celebrate from her two-part reality special 'A Very Bonang Year' raking in over two million views, to featuring in Charlamagne Tha God's Black Effect podcast with iHeartMedia, to her very own prestigious House Of BNG being the best selling MCC at Woolworths.
