It has been a couple of years since media personality Bonang Matheba, decided to abruptly hang up her headphones at Metro FM, after her first show with Lerato Kganyago on the station. Her exit sparked a major debate with many suspecting that she left because she did not want to share the same slot with Lerato.
Bonang rubbished those claims and moved on to venture into other projects. Yesterday Mzansi learned that Sizwe Dhlomo, is now the newest member of the Kaya FM family.
Sizwe is set to host their newly revamped afternoon drive show, and will bring a vast knowledge of current affairs, popular culture, and business acumen to the Monday to Thursday show.
A fan took to Twitter to congratulate Sizwe on his new radio gig, and the outspoken media personality decided to send a shoutout to Bonang, and hinted that the streets are not ready for what’s coming next.
Bonang replied and said a cultural reset is loading. Fans were left convinced that Queen B will be soon back on the radio, while some are suspecting that they might be co-hosting the afternoon drive show together.
We guess only time would tell, but it would be great to have her back on the radio.
