South African media personality, Bontle Modiselle, has scored a brand new gig with the women’s deodorant brand, Shield SA. The new mom shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, 17 September 2020 where she was seen reminding mzansi that she never lost her groove since giving birth to her daughter Afrika, earlier this year.
Bontle showed off a freestyle to Master KG’s worldwide hit single, Jerusalema, as she took her own spin on the dance challenge. She stated, “Great News!!! I’ve partnered up with @shieldza for the #MoveMoreAtHome campaign. Celebrating to the biggest dance challenge in the world right now. Summer bodies are loading...it’s time to level up. Ready or not, let’s dance!”.
Friends and fans we left in awe as she showed off her banging body with her experienced dance moves. Keona Jordaan commented with, “Everyone was following step so mooi and mama Moloi had to take things to extreme levels.”, whilst Musa added, “Is this the new Jerusalema challenge because I can’t do it like that.”
While this video in particular has received compliments from her followers, Bontle’s journey to the top of the local dancing scene has not been all merry. The multi-faceted personality had to deal with trolls back in June 2020, when she posted a video on social media dancing to Focalistic’s smash hit single “Ke Star,” featuring Vigro Deep.
The post received so much backlash from trolls that suggested she trying too hard to dance like leading amapiano female vocalist and choreographer, Kamo Mphela. It got so bad that she had to disable the comments and only recently turned them back on.
The unnecessary hate and critique from the peanut gallery has not slowed down the dancer, as she continues to show her FIRE moves, proving to everyone that her skills are unlike any other.
