Following Layla McKenzie's scheming to get a Me'Shell to confess on a recording. It looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel for CeeJay, who has been wrongfully accused of rape.
It has been one hell of a roller-coaster ride for CeeJay, played by Thulani Hlatshwayo. Following the claims made by Me'Shell, who was initially played by the late Busi Lurayi, but since has been replaced by Thuli Thabethe. CeeJay saw himself spending time in the police cells after being accused of rape.
After tossing and turning around the issue, Layla McKenzie played by Natasha Sutherland becomes CeeJay's saving grace, eventually. Taking to the police, Layla McKenzie saw fit for her to get Me'shell to confess in order for Cee-Jay to be a free man.
Layla McKenzie's scheming may have just been CeeJay's saving grace, as all the rape charges leveled against has been dropped. Taking to social media, Scandal! shared a picture of Cohen notifying CeeJay that all the charges against him will be dropped.

What has really strike a nerve with the viewers is that this story-line is much alike to the reality that is lived by some people. In real life, whether from experience or from they know, viewers have shared how saddening this rape story line is, as there are people who end up being jailed for crimes they did not commit.
