South African celebrities are swimming in the guap and (thankfully) making wise investments while they do it. If you don’t believe us, just look at the giant mansions that some of our faves have purchased over the years.
These days it’s popular to start a challenge on social media. Ciara gave us the #LevelUpChallenge last year, while King Monada had the Epilepsy SA in their feels with his
#IdibalaChallenge. But not all challenges were made for all people. For instance, when 6lack released a song called #BalenciagaChallenge, many of us knew that we wouldn’t be able to compete.
Likewise with the #CelebMansionChallenge (which we totally just made up). Some of us just can’t compete. Maybe if there was a #MiddleClassApartmentChallenge we could stand a chance…
If there was ever to be a #CelebMansionChallenge, you can be sure that one of these ZAlebs would walk away with the big prize:
Trevor Noah
Trevor Noah’s brand new R276 million Beverly Hills mansion was a big reminder that his January is not the same as our Januworry.
Cassper Nyovest
Not to be outdone, Cassper Nyovest reminded us that every king needs a palace. Alright Mufasa, we see you!
Bonang Matheba
Moghel doesn’t do small and she doesn’t do cheap – make of that what you will – and the rule applies when we’re talking property, too. Bonang’s big, beautiful home made its way to Top Billing last year!
The Fergusons
Having a mansion when you’re single is nice. But it can get lonely. Maybe that’s why Connie and Shona waited until they were
married for over a decade before purchasing one of their own.
DJ Zinhle
She makes music, she makes you dance, she writes books, she stars on reality TV… of course,
Zinhle was always going to be guaped, and she’s put that money into her very own dream home.
