The Queen Cast Back At Work
The cast of DStv’s number drama series The Queen has returned back to work just in time before they completely run out of new episodes.

The national lockdown forced production houses across the country to pause their shooting schedules as the country introduced tough methods to fight off the coronavirus.

Ferguson Films (producers of The Queen) speaking to Sunday Times admitted that they only had enough episodes to last until the first week of May.

“We will not be able to deliver that content by the end of May. There’s so much going on behind the scenes. We are thinking about how we’re going to survive as a company, but not only that, we are thinking about how are we going to help our people.”

The lockdown regulations have now been relaxed and production houses have been allowed to return to work.

Actor Vuyolwethu Ngcukana who portrays Schumacher on The Queen, took to Twitter to share his first day back at work since lockdown. He also shared that things are different on set but he is thrilled to be back on set.
