His memorial service was scheduled to take place on Thursday,16 March 2023 but in a turn of events, his team has revealed that it will no longer take place today. According to TimesLIVE, due to the Titch Gang's desire to attend, the Mpumalanga-born rapper's memorial service has been postponed.

A new date and venue for the memorial will be announced, along with a live stream on YouTube. His family released a statement earlier this week. They said they were deeply saddened by the loss of their son.

On Friday, 17 March 2023, Costa’s family and team took to social media to circulate the new date for the Big Flexa hitmaker’s memorial service. Interestingly, it did not leave much time for the general public who had an affinity with the rapper to have time to plan to attend the memorial.
The reasoning is that the memorial is set to take place on Saturday, 18 March 2023 at Bloom, Bedfordview from 12:00 until late. The theme of the memorial is black with a touch of green. However, if you cannot attend physically, it is unclear whether there will be the option to livestream the memorial given the fact that there is no fixed time as to when the memorial is set to end.
Moreover, it seems that even attending the service physically might be difficult as the statement went on to confirm that tickets to the memorial service, which were complimentary, have already sold out.
A matter the statement did not address was the matter of the funeral. Given the delays with the memorial service, it makes sense that the funeral was also delayed. However, as to when the funeral will take place has not been shared with the public.
